General situation of forestry pest disasters.
In 2014, there were 11903.7 thousand hectares of forest pests in China (1.7% year-on-year decrease), 8407.9 thousand hectares of insect pests (4.4% year-on-year increase), 1380.1 thousand hectares of diseases (4.3% year-on-year decrease) and 2115.9 thousand hectares (5.7% Year-on-year decrease).

The closer to the light green area, the smaller the total disaster area of each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government).
