The online map of vegetation growth in central and Western Liaoning and Eastern Inner Mongolia from July 12 to 27, 2014, it is from the Atlas of natural disasters in China in 2014, the book is edited by the National Disaster Reduction Commission Office, the Disaster relief Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Disaster Reduction Center of Ministry of Civil Affairs, and is published by China Map Publishing House.

Vegetation growth:

The green area in the figure shows: Well-growing vegetation.

The red area in the figure shows: Poor-growing vegetation.

White area in the figure shows: No data.

Based on MODIS vegetation index data products from July 12-27 and August 13-28, 2014, the drought grade and impact were evaluated by comparing the vegetation status index data of the same period since 2001. The drought mainly occurred in central and Western Henan, southern Shaanxi, central and southern Liaoning and Eastern Inner Mongolia.
