Tianjin
In 2014, the disaster situation in Tianjin was the same as that in recent years, mainly due to wind and hail disasters.
1.Single disaster type and weak intensity
The natural disasters suffered in the whole year are mainly wind and hail disasters. The types of disasters are relatively simple and the intensity is weak, one person died of lightning stroke, crops and cash crops were affected to varying degrees, and some houses were damaged.
2.Concentrated occurrence time of disasters
The disasters occurred mainly in the main flood season from mid June to early July; only Ninghe, Wuqing and Binhai New Area were affected throughout the year. Among them, the direct economic losses of Wuqing District accounted for 41.6% of the total direct economic losses of the whole city, 37.3% of Ninghe county and 21.1% of Binhai New Area.
