The inverse hyperbolic function is the inverse of the hyperbolic function. The difference from the inverse circular function is that its prefix is ar meaning area (area), not arc (arc). Because the hyperbolic angle is defined by the area between the hyperbola, the origin line, and its mapping to the x-axis, the fillet is defined by the ratio of arc length to radius.
