The iron-filling calculation tool design refers to the iron supplement formula in "Clinical Hematology" edited by Luo Shaokai and others. The purpose of this tool is only to reduce the cumbersome human calculations and improve the efficiency of medical staff.
Iron calculation:
\(Total iron deficiency [mg] = weight [kg] x (Hb target value - Hb actual value) [g / l] x 0.238 + storage iron amount [mg] \)
Where: Hb is hemoglobin content
\(Storage iron = 10mg/kg body weight (<700mg) \)
If the total required amount exceeds the maximum single dose, it should be administered in divided doses. If no changes in hematologic parameters are observed 1-2 weeks after dosing, the initial diagnosis should be reconsidered.
Calculate the dose of iron supplementation in patients with blood loss and support for autologous blood donation
\(The amount of iron to be replenished [mg] = the amount of blood loss unit × 200 \)
Weight(KG): 50
The target value of Hb[g/l]: 120
Hb actual value[g/l]: 90
Result:
Total iron deficiency:857mg
