Kilovolt ampere (kVA), the standard for measuring power, is 1 kilovolt ampere. KVA is equivalent to the current in a circuit generated by the voltage of that line, which is usually measured in a transformer, that is, it is a unit of current. The kilowatt refers to the power of an electrical appliance, that is, the unit of power.
