App description

This calculator is used to find the resistance value that the LM317 needs to adjust to the voltage you need. The typical R1 value is 220 ohms or 240 ohms, but it can be changed to other values, such as 150 or 470 ohms. Then enter the value of R2 and click the "Calculate" button to immediately calculate the output voltage of the LM317.

Usage example

Input data: R1 resistance 240 ohms; R2 resistance 1500 ohms

Output voltage 9.06 volts (V)  

Note

Hint: The input voltage of the LM317 must be at least greater than the output voltage of 1.5V.
