docker logs : Get the log of the container

2.42.1. Grammar

docker logs [OPTIONS] CONTAINER

OPTIONS description:

  • -f : Trace log output

  • –since : Show all logs at a start time

  • -t : Show timestamp

  • –tail : List only the latest N container logs

2.42.2. Example

Trace and view the log output of the container mynginx.

runoob@runoob:~$ docker logs -f mynginx
