What is Web semantics?

What is semantics? In fact, to put it simply, it is so that the machine can read the content.

• The Beatles is a popular band from Liverpool.

• John Lennon is a member of the Beatles

• Hey Jude is a masterpiece of the Beatles.

We can easily understand the meaning of the above sentence. But how can these sentences be understood by the computer?

Statements are created by syntax rules. The syntax of the language defines the rules for creating language statements. But how to turn grammar into semantics?

The semantic Web is about enabling machines to understand data. Semantic Web technology, which includes a set of description language and reasoning logic. It describes the Ontology in a number of formats.

The semantic Web is not a link between web pages.

The semantic Web describes the relationships between things (such as An is part of B, Y is a member of Z) and the properties of things (such as size, height, age, price, etc.).

The implementation of semantic Web is based on XML (Extensible markup language eXtensible Markup Langauge) and Resource description Framework (RDF). XML is a tool for defining markup language, which includes XML declaration, DTD (document type declaration document type definition) to define language syntax, detailed description of markup, and document itself.The document itself contains tags and content. RDF is used to express the content of the web page.
