Calculation of the amount of dust generated per unit length of road in a year:
$$ QA=C \times 24 \times (D-d) \times P \times (l-Ac) \times E \times 10^{-5} $$
In the formula:
QA—the amount of dust generated per unit length of road in a year, t;
C—average hourly traffic, vehicle/h;
D—the total number of days calculated, 365 days;
D—the number of days in which the precipitation in a year is greater than 0.254 mm;
P—road grade factor, such as 0.4 within the inner loop, and 0.8 between the inner and outer loops;
Ac—dusting coefficient, such as 0.4 within the inner loop, and 0.2 between the inner and outer loops;
L—the length of the road, km;
Q—the amount of dust generated by the road year, t.
