Darcy-Weissbach formula---pipe length online calculator

App Description

\(L=\frac {2×H _L×D×g}{F×V^2}\)

  • L = pipe length
  • D = pipe diameter
  • HL= head loss
  • g = gravity acceleration
  • F = friction coefficient
  • V = flow rate

Usage example

Input data:

Friction factor - -15; head loss - 474 ft; pipe diameter - 20 ft; flow rate - -15 ft / sec; gravitational acceleration - -8 ft / sec 2

Click "Calculate" to display the results.

Output results:

The length of the pipe is 44.94 feet.

Note

The unit of head loss, pipe diameter, flow rate and gravitational acceleration can be selected. Click the checkbox arrow at the back to select the corresponding unit.
